Oberkotter Foundation

03_Cici-dance-studio-02The work of the Oberkotter Foundation has always been driven by the Trustees’ passionate belief that all children who are deaf or hard of hearing should have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The Oberkotter Foundation focuses its efforts on supporting families who have chosen listening and spoken language for their child and on opportunities for children learning listening and spoken language to develop their social, emotional, language, literacy and educational skills.

To produce the best outcomes for every child and to capitalize on the critical stages of cognitive and language development between birth and age five, we believe that families must have access to comprehensive information and quality services as quickly as possible.

Dr. Jace Wolfe named Senior Vice President at Oberkotter Foundation – Hearing First

The Oberkotter Foundation – Hearing First (OF-HF) team is growing! Dr. Jace Wolfe will be joining the team as Senior Vice President of Innovation on April 1st.

In his new role, Dr. Wolfe will focus on translating science into practice to capitalize on the critical early stages of brain development to improve Listening and Spoken Language (LSL) and literacy outcomes for children who are deaf or hard of hearing nationwide. Many of you know Dr. Wolfe as a highly regarded expert in the field of hearing health. He has led a team of clinical audiologists serving pediatric and adult hearing aid and cochlear implant patients at Hearts for Hearing in Oklahoma since 2003.

We are excited to continue building a team to support the mission of the foundation in helping families ensure their children who are deaf or hard of hearing have opportunities to reach their full potential through listening and spoken language.
